This policy explains how Ask the Hippo ("we", "us") handles personal data on askthehippo.com and the Hippo Blog at askthehippo.com/blog. Questions or requests: team@askthehippo.com.
It covers this website only. When Hippo runs inside an exchange or broker's app, that exchange's own privacy policy and its agreement with us govern the data involved.

We do not sell personal data, and we do not ask for trading, account or payment information on this website.

Who we share it with
We use these service providers, who process data on our behalf or as described in their own policies:
- Vercel: hosts the website and processes technical logs.
- Resend: delivers demo-request emails to our team and stores newsletter subscriber addresses.
- Google: Google Tag Manager loads our measurement tools. See Google's privacy policy.
- X: the X conversion tracking pixel measures visits from our X activity and advertising. See X's privacy policy.
These providers may process data outside your country, including in the United States. Where the law requires it, transfers rely on appropriate safeguards such as standard contractual clauses.
How long we keep it
We keep demo-request details for as long as we need them to respond and follow up, and newsletter addresses until you unsubscribe. Cookie lifetimes are set by the providers above.
Your choices and rights
You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings, and manage personalised ads from X in your X account settings. Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, delete or export your data, to object to or restrict its use, and to withdraw consent at any time. Email team@askthehippo.com to make a request. You can also complain to your local data protection authority.

This website is for businesses and adults. It is not directed at anyone under 18.
