Hippo Terminal and Hippo Dock

One agent, two ways to reach it.

Traders use Hippo Terminal. Exchanges and brokers embed Hippo Dock in their own apps. Both run the same agent, with the same rules and the same Order Ticket.

Hippo Dock

Give your traders a conversational trading agent, without building one. Hippo sits inside your app and uses your APIs.

  • Your platform, your custody, your order book
  • Traders confirm on Hippo's ticket; Hippo submits through your API

How it works

Four steps from question to order.

  1. 01 · ASK

    Share an idea

Type or speak a question. / opens commands and @ attaches your own data.

  2. 02 · EVIDENCE

    Get the evidence

Price, funding, open interest and order book depth, each with a timestamp and a source.

  3. 03 · DRAFT

    Hippo drafts

Describe the trade. Hippo fills in the Order Ticket, including estimated fees and liquidation price, and marks it on the chart.

  4. 04 · CONFIRM

    You confirm

Edit or discard the ticket, or press Confirm. Nothing executes without it, and unconfirmed tickets expire.

API key

No transfer permission

You connect your exchange account with an API key that cannot transfer or withdraw funds. Hippo places only orders you confirm.

Memory

Off unless you turn it on

Hippo stores your preferences only if you enable memory, and deletes them when you ask.

Trading involves real risk, including losses larger than your margin on leveraged products. Hippo provides information, not investment advice.

Hippo Dock · for exchanges and brokers

The trade starts on your chart. Then it leaves.

Traders take their questions to social feeds and AI chat tools, and often place the order somewhere else. Hippo Dock answers inside your app and drafts the order there.

Today
  1. Your chartThe trader spots a move and wants in.
  2. Social feeds"Why is it falling?" Opinions, no sources.
  3. AI chat tab"Should I buy?" It can't see the market.
  4. OutcomePlaced on a faster app. Or not at all.
With Hippo Dock
  1. Your chartThe trader spots a move and wants in.
  2. Ask Hippo"Why is it falling?" A sourced brief.
  3. Ask Hippo"Should I buy?" Facts, never a call.
  4. OutcomeConfirmed on Hippo's ticket. Filled on your book.

Install

One script tag

Hippo loads as a separate panel. Your charts, order forms and account screens do not change.

Rails

Your custody, your book

Hippo reads market and account data through your APIs and submits only orders your trader has confirmed.

Compliance

Explains, never advises

An automated suite of advice-bait questions checks that Hippo declines and shows the facts instead.

Ground rules

The same rules in Terminal and Dock.

01

Information, not advice

Hippo does not predict prices, pick markets or suggest position sizes.

02

You confirm every order

Hippo drafts. Nothing executes until the trader confirms on Hippo's ticket.

03

No access to funds

Hippo places confirmed orders only. It cannot withdraw or transfer funds.

04

Sourced and timestamped

Every answer lists its sources and the time the data was read.

For exchanges and brokers

Your traders are going to start this conversation anyway.

Make sure it ends on your book. Book a Hippo Dock demo and we will show how a pilot would run on your platform.
